Although this is a standard size violin, it has an extra wide fingerboard to accomodate the extra string, and a surprisingly big, exciting and complex tone.
The tone on the C string works well, it is light with the emphasis on the harmonics, as you would expect from a low C on a standard violin sized instrument, but it is crisp and responsive and not sluggish or woolly.
All our violins are supplied with a fabric covered hard foam case.
