This bow has an ipe stick. The internal screw and nut are metal, for durability. The frog and button are ebony.
The head design, swept in both directions, results in stronger upbows, reducing the disparity of strength between upbows and downbows. The heavier head also contributes to the tip-heavy character of the bow.
The bow handles easily and is well controlled.
The tone is rich and textured.
